Goodyear recently continued the whirlwind celebration of its momentous 125th anniversary with regional business partners and media community at Goodyear Technology Showcase on 12 September 2023 as part of the “Goodyear: 125 Years in Motion” event held in Malaysia.

Throughout the showcase, our delegation from Sunlun Distribution (SUNLUN Group) led by Managing Director, Mr. Philip Lau experienced firsthand Goodyear’s leading-edge innovations at the forefront of the pioneering tyre brand’s vision for future mobility in the next 125 years.

Goodyear Eagle 360 Urban
The Eagle 360 Urban concept tyre is an artificial intelligence AI-powered sphere tyre which combines bionic skin with neural sensor networks and morphing tread made of super-elastic polymer to sense and adapt to evolving mobility ecosystems in future urban centres.

Goodyear Aero
The Aero concept tyre is an intelligent 2-in-1 multimodal tyre for autonomous, flying cars of tomorrow which serves both as a conventional tyre on the road as well as airborne propellers giving future commuters the freedom to move seamlessly from the road to the skies.

Goodyear Nextrek
The Nextrek concept tyre is an airless, non-pneumatic tyre (NPT) developed using Goodyear’s patented high-load bearing airless spoke architecture technology to deliver maintenance-free solutions for autonomous, passenger and light commercial vehicle fleets in the future.

Goodyear LF-30 Electrified Tyre
Goodyear’s bespoke Lexus LF-30 Electrified concept tyre pairs the futuristic vision of Lexus’ luxury electric vehicle (EV) concept car with EV tyre innovations including unique EV motor cooling through tyre aerodynamics and noise reduction through biomimicry tyre design.
